Schnitzel Platz in Glendale Heights is perhaps one of the most lively and entertaining eateries throughout the area and is known for hosting many events and is special enough to help ring in the holidays. In fact, Schnitzel Platz will often feature a special menu that has items only available throughout select times of the year like Oktoberfest.     We like this restaurant a lot! The location is great. The views are pretty looking out over the golf course. The atmosphere inside is casual, comfortable, airy, bright and not loud. Food and drinks can be hit or miss. Last night most food was very good, except Risotto dish which had no flavor. Wine, beer, Aperol spritz and Vodka sodas were very good. Unfortunately, Vodka Martinis and Manhattan’s were not!

    The German food is excellent! We truly enjoy our visits. The entertainment is simple and the accordionist was very engaging and happy. The ambience is reminiscent of a bierstube. All around great experience.

    Francescas in Elmhurst was great, I always love some good Italian food! Went with my fiancée to celebrate and the server took such great care of us! Manager was nice, food was amazing and the ambiance is great there! Definitely will be back again soon

    Lucia Rose was recommended to us by a colleague. We had a delicious meal and fantastic service from Nick! All of the food was fresh and flavorful. Cannot believe I have missed this gem of a restaurant so I will certainly be coming back in the future!
