Ishinabe Wakasa is a Japanese and Korean restaurant that was recently published in the Michelin restaurant guide. The dining space is beautiful, with the walls painted a deep red color and the sparse decorations accenting the gorgeous wood tones of the columns. Ishinabe Wakasa's kitchen staff actively seeks out the very best local and farm fresh ingredients, going to the local markets each day to create the best food possible. Some of the signature dishes are the saskue pork steamed poum with sesame sauce as well as the sakuraebi and five color vegetables.

This dinner was incredible. They explain each dish and educate you on the ingredients. They also had the best 90’s R&B playlist going that really made our night. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to try high quality wagyu while in Tokyo!

The food in the omakase was excellent, varied, and plentiful. The sake pairings were all delicious. We felt informed on what was coming out to us for each course and struggled to eat it all while absolutely wanting to consume every single bite. This meal was a highlight of our trip to Tokyo and we wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
