The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. We had a great waitress named Nicole who not only took great care of the orders, food, and drinks- but also helped us by making paper numbers for our white elephant holiday gift exchange! She went the extra mile, was professional and personable.

Food and service were excellent as always. Our party had the filet mignon, burgers, brussels sprouts, Montecristo, and the chili garlic nuts are absolutely delicious. Pleasant ambience, friendly service and delicious cocktails. Get the chocolate old-fashioned—it is absolutely fantastic.

Please bring back the original coleslaw recipe. My husband and I both agree that the coleslaw we were served on 10/19/23 was dreadful. Why in the world would you change a good thing? My husband and I eat there about four times a year and we look forward to your coleslaw, but we will never order it again if you continue that recipe. Otherwise, our salmon meal was delicious, but we are completely disappointed with the coleslaw we were served, and we mentioned that to our server. Our server was delightful by the way.
