All the staff were so friendly, smiley and welcoming it was really lovely to go to a place with such upbeat staff! Food was amazing had the lamb and it is stunning Super Quick service for everything

This is a fabulous and friendly pub in a beautiful village between Camelford & Bodmin. The food truly is the best for many miles around. Everything in the menu is local and very fresh. Between us we had the mussels and asparagus as starters, which were superb then the lamb, hake, pork belly and the steak, all of which were the best we had tasted for miles around. It’s not the cheapest place around, that’s for sure and, if one had to be critical, the asparagus starter and the hake were a little on the small side. All in all, this is a pub worth visiting for those special occasion meals where quality means more than price. We’ll certainly be back.

Excellent fresh fish with a good choice of specials and friendly attentive service. We’ll certainly be back if we’re in the area again.

Lovely local pub with really well presented tasty food, lovely staff who were friendly and polite, lovely setting, would highly recommend, we were very pleased and enjoyed our evening. Dog friendly too.

Beautiful venue, great menu and very nice food, beautifully presented. The Pannacotta was out of this world! Definately will be back soon. Vouchers bought already for my mother-in-laws Mothers Day gift - for afternoon tea - I'm sure they'll love it too! Excellent, and thank you
