Rollati's menu is a love letter to Italian-American cuisine, embracing the iconic dishes of Italy’s many regions, as well as those that developed in Italian kitchens across America.     The food was very good. Spicy Pie as an appetizer was unique and delicious. I ordered the Thousand Layer Lasagne and it was very tasty. The Polenta was delicious as well. We arrived a little early for our 6:45 reservation and our host was going to set us up at a large table adjacent to the bar; we requested a table change and he accommodated our request and put us at a nice table in the dining room, which we really appreciated because it was quieter for our party of 5 as we celebrated a birthday. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    Finally a restaurant in downtown San Jose worth writing home about! Hip ambience with excellent creative cocktails, interesting wine list, and very good food. Main entrees presentation was a little underwhelming, but this is just constructive criticism for continued improvements. Hope you keep it up!

    We always enjoy dining at Il Fornaio, particularly in San Jose. My wife loves the RAVIOLI ZUCCA. The San Jose location makes it the best. We also love that the restaurant is located in the Hotel Sainte Claire.

    Once again, our visit to Morton’s was excellent with great food and service. Starting with bacon-wrapped scallops and French onion soup to go with a lemon drop and world of single malts. The prime New York and Ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare accompanied with delicious spinach with button mushrooms and smoked Gouda with bacon au gratin. Finishing with key lime pie was perfect for our holiday meal.
