Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks. Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials. Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash. Food was great, however we found the service was not great for the price of £51 per head. Was lovely for a little birthday plate at the end, however again the way it was delivered was not friendly, felt unwelcoming.

We had a delicious and warming meal today on a cold and damp Sunday. But the restaurant was host and warm. The entire menu was available which was great and we sampled 4 delicious main courses-steak and ale pie, the huge juicy burger, the tandoori sea bream and the Smokey fish pie. Each dish was superb! My tandoori sea bream was cooked in a Thai green curry sauce that was light and a bit spicy but fantastic with the meaty sea bream - an inspired recipe.

The food was absolutely delicious and extremely well presented; the service outstanding. One of our party was vegetarian and she was very happy with the vegetarian and vegan menus. I couldn’t fault a thing.
