Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine.     Top-notch service: Ali was extremely knowleable and able to help us decide on our menu choices. All the other staff was attentive as well. The food was outstanding along with the restaurant being beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. Highly Recommended!

    We went for dinner and celebrated my nephews bday, and the service, ambiance, history of the building and most importantly, the food was superb. We started with burrata and prosciutto, funghi salad, calamari and carpaccio.. all amazing, baratta was a crowd favourite, mine was the funghi salad. Second were the pizzas, we had the sausage pizza and the goat cheese aubergine pizza…. Simply amazing, third were the pasta.. the bolognese was so delicious along with the mushroom prosciutto.. just wow. And pls have their desserts! The tiramisu and the affogato were so amazing. Will definitely go back. And not to forget their incredible wine selection !! Must try

    I really enjoyed my night out to celebrate this year's birthday with my best friend. We caught a friend's son's hockey game and then travelled out to Toronto, from Milton, to Hy's. Traffic wasn't too bad or at least it wasn't bad enough to ruin our night or make us late for our reservation. Everything inside Hy's was exceptional. I've wanted to enjoy the experience for many months and I finally got to have it again and I'm glad we did it. Hy's Steakhouse is my favourite restaurant to date. Most importantly, the food was great and it seems it always is when I go there. I have a few very fond memories of my experiences at Hy's over the course of my life.

    Food was excellent. Ambiance was great. Service was exceptional. One star was lost because of two things: (1) the table was not wiped before giving us the dessert menu. There were crumbs on the table; (2) the Negroni did not have the big square ice cube but had ice chunks. Excuse given by server was lame - they had no room to store the ice cubes.
