We embrace locally grown produce; fresh vegetables grown in the central valley, locally raised meat, and seafood from the cold waters of the coast of Northern California.Brett Bohlmann, chef and owner, is a 1998 graduate of the California Culinary Academy. After several years of experience in the Bay area Bret has returned home to Elk Grove to open one of Elk Grove's finest restaurants.

    Sheldon Inn is by far my favorite restaurant in Sacramento/Elk Grove. The food and the entire staff are top notch. It’s definitely a great place to take your significant other too. Also the barrel aged Old Fashioned was spectacular.

    Amazing food and service. Our server, Eric, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We were very well taken care of. We had the Peking Duck w/ Pancakes via Eric’s suggestion and are super glad we did. Definitely will recommend and will be back!!

    Small home converted into a restaurant. Service was impeccable and attentive. The deviled eggs and pork belly appetizers were outstanding. The apple salad was fresh and crisp. The beef plate melted in your mouth. The bread pudding might have been the best I have ever had

    The Sushi was FANTASTIC and the service was Top Tier! Our waiter was very kind and always knew when to come check on us. Took my sister for her birthday and we had an amazing time. Can't wait to bring my husband the next time I visit.
