The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Delightful old pub by the Ashdown forest. Good menu and service. Genuinely surprised by the quality of the food. Fully recommend. Staff welcoming and attentive. And most important - the plates were warmed. Nice coffee too. Will be booking another lunch there soon.

Shown to our table as soon as we arrived. Excellent service and sumptuous food. Roast beef and lamb with all the trimmings you would expect from a Sunday roast. We will be returning.

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
