The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. We had the afternoon tea for 2 which was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was lovely and we had a lovely afternoon.

Both the initial greeting and the service during the whole meal were of an impeccably high standard. Together with the delicious food, it made for a hugely enjoyable meal.

An hour's 3 mile walk from opposite EUBC along the canal path got us to The Turf. We had booked a food slot for an outside table as all the inside was full already. Waited a mere 15 minutes for the Burger and Chips which was delicious. Perfectly cooked, locally-sourced beef with seasoned chunky chips and side salad, helped down with a pint of cider on a sunny day. Great service , friendly staff, lovely well-maintained picturesque setting and tasty food. What more do you need?. Highly recommend. cheers
