Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). Great food and very attentive staff! The live music on weekends creates a fantastic atmosphere and makes for a perfect night out. The prawn saganaki is a must-try — absolutely delicious!

Lovely rocket parmasan and artichoke salad and mushroom risotto. Risotto could have been creamier and a wee bit more dressing on the rocket but I added balsamic which was good . Good service and nice coffees too

My wife and I were really well looked after by Amir and his team and the food was up to it’s usual high standard. I would recommend to anyone.
