The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. With spectacular views from the comfort of the castle’s elegant interior, take your time to savour every delicious moment. The Afternoon Tea menu offers guests a wide selection of speciality teas or perhaps a glass of Champagne, delicate finger sandwiches, warm freshly baked scones with lashings of cream and home-made jam, not to mention our tasty pastries. On the night of the tenth of January myself brothers and a friend went out for dinner and everything was amazing the girl who’s name I can’t remember unfortunately was kind and seemed to actually care about the service she was giving

I eat in the stone house quiet a bit. And generally always have an excellent experience there. Staff are efficient, welcoming and very nice. Food is always delicious, if it's busy you might have a wait. Highly recommend The Stonehouse

Fabulous experience. Food was outstanding and served promptly, piping hot which is what i like. Staff were attentive, friendly and courteous. Overall an excellent dining experience on a very busy New Year's Day. Thank you

Really good, while the menu is not massive the food was really good and the staff were great. The bar area was lovely also.
