Mike is a Sandpoint native and most recently served as Executive Chef at 41 South. Under his leadership, 41 South was consistently voted as one of the best restaurants in Sandpoint. Mike learned his craft at the Seattle Culinary Academy earning an Associates of Culinary Arts degree in 2008. His culinary expertise was further developed at several concepts managed and owned by the Tom Douglas Restaurant Group in Seattle, notably Etta’s and SeaTown, after beginning his career with Schweitzer Mountain Resort.

Reservations are strongly recommended. Our full service bar has 14 seats and accommodates walk-in's on a first come, first served basis. While there is no dress code at Sorella, we encourage guests to dress smart casual. The music volume in the restaurant is loud with a lively vibe. We have a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals before your reservation will be canceled. No shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours will be subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee. You are beholden to your party size, your party size (unless circumstances allow) cannot be adjusted. We ask that you do not make multiple reservations with the intent to be seated together. We loved our server Jessica! She was incredibly kind and just an overall joy. The calamari was crispy and hot. I loved my blood orange glazed salmon and the amalfi coast cocktail. And of course the pea salad and crème brûlée are always a must here!

My daughter and I took my granddaughter here for her 8th birthday. The server was very friendly and accommodating. She celebrated my granddaughter's birthday by bringing a small cupcake with a candle. There were so many fun things for my granddaughter to see and even a scavenger hunt on the menu that she was almost too excited to eat. You were served quickly and the food was delicious.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food was creative and excellent and Conner was so entertaining as he narrated the evening and led us through each of the 13 courses. The wine pairings were great as well. We are already planning our next visit

Wednesday night is Pasta night. Dinner is served family style with foccia bread, Ceasars salad, and spaghetti with huge meatballs. Great dinner, cheerful efficient service, for $15. Can't get better than this!
