Everything was amazing. This was one of our best away-from-home dining experiences in recent memory. I’d go back tonight too if we weren’t leaving. Pork chop not to be missed. Dining companion reported same for duck breast.

Special night with our daughter as she competed in her last nationals for mogul skiing before retiring and heading to college. Table at the window with incredible view. Staff from host , bartender to server were engaged in with us, wished her luck and gave us great attention. Highly recommend.

River each dining experience can be whatever you’d like it to be -a high end dining or burgers and nachos. We did a bit of both. We had excellent service by Sam One tiny disappointment was I couldn’t wait to have the halibut but upon ordering found out they were out of it. I ended up going in a totally different direction with the nachos which ended up being great. Dining companion had the stroganoff and loved it. Our table was overlooking Truckee river and views were lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Great food, drinks, and service. They aim to please and we had a great family meal.

Excellent food and service. There were families with noisy kids nearby our table.. once they left, the atmosphere improved.
