A simply amazing surprise: tucked in a Brookhaven shopping center, one would have no idea that the interior is so appealing until stepping inside--as well as the covered patio--and finally top-shelf and intimate Bar Terroir. Sommelier Chris Driollet's wine list is a ten-time Wine Spectator Award winner, and the new executive Chef Charles Zeran delivers up innovative American Fusion and Continental dishes. This neighborhood charmer keeps getting better with time. Check online reviews and you will see people don't just "like" this place: they love it. Reasonable pricing, fresh locally-sourced food and the best patio in Georgia. And if you like fireplaces, Terra is for you.

Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. ARNETTE'S Chop Shop is a modern take on the traditional American steakhouse and features a contemporary, chef-driven menu, extensive wine list and a well-curated craft cocktail program. The restaurant’s interior was created to compliment the industrial modern design movement, exposing the natural character of the reclaimed warehouse while blending vintage, classic and modern design influences.The restaurant is split into two levels. The dining room is appointed with custom wood and leather booths, banquettes and tables. The main level also boasts an open kitchen complete with a custom built wood burning and open flame hearth and charbroiler. The lavish upscale bar is positioned on the second level above the main entrance and dining room. The bar has a contemporary yet warm den style ambiance with a open air terrace.     Great service; great ribeye. Porterhouse was a bit chewy in places. Risotto is very good. Chop Chop salad is delicious. The prices are a bit high.

    We started the experience with oysters, miso soup and tacos wagyu & fish. The tacos were so wonderful, we ordered a second set of both. The tacos had fantastic flavor and were so very light. Added a couple of beef stewers to go with the Salmon and the Hanger steak. Oh, they cooked the salmon and steak to perfection, mid-rare on both. Nobu acheived perfection with the temp. To go along with the meal, we had the lychee martini and a tropicalia in addition to the sparkling water. The only this we noticed is the very slow service and lack of access to the server. The server was informative and helpful with the menu but, was not around when we needed assistance (dropped napkin and no chopsticks/dining utensils-taken with the dirty plates). Overall, I would highly recommend giving Nobu a go. Today, is the day after and the wife and I are still talking about the delicious food at Nobu and what we want to try next time.

    We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary there and could not have had a better meal and service was great. The patio is beautiful.
