Pisces Rising is a celebration of Florida cuisine located in beautiful Mount Dora. Established in 2003, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Lake Dora with multiple options for dining in the main dining room, semi-private, private, and outside areas of the establishment. Pisces Rising is a proud supporter of regional sustainability and utilizing fresh, local ingredients in culinary dishes first and foremost whenever possible. The scratch kitchen, referred to as the "Heart of the House", consists of a team of passionate Chefs who put their love and care into each dish. Locally owned and operated, The Back Room Steakhouse features aged Black Angus steaks including our boneless Rib eye, Porterhouse, New York Strip, and our Center Cut Filet.     We came here on one of the busiest days of the year, checked in early, and went to the dock bar out back to wait for a table. The bar was busy but had enough seats for our large party. Service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed a round of drinks before our table was ready and we moved inside. We were sat at exactly our reservation time. Server was great, and attentive. Food and drinks were outstanding and the vibe of the restaurant was perfect. Definitely want to return in the future and will always recommend to friends.

    Everything was awesome. We had an issue with parking due to Christmas Day parking issues. We arrived on property an hour prior to our reservation and it took almost another hour to park. I was worried that the restaurant would not hold our reservation but was told not to worry. Once seated and our server, Chris, came to the table, the experience more than made up for the parking fiasco. Chris was very attentive and a joy to deal with.

    Had a lovely Christmas Eve lunch with my sisters and their husbands. The food was excellent, our server was wonderful and we all raved about what a good time we had - its on the list for an annual event. Now we want to go back and do the spa - really lovely!
