Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. Absolute treat of a place! My friend and I saw outside for brunch and the setting was fantastic. There were outdoor heaters too. We ordered the mushroom truffle mouse, lobster deviled eggs, niman ranch burger, and the chicken katsu sando. Everything was soooo delicious! The service was really good and we felt very welcome.

From the time I walked in until we left the experience was great. The hostess and waitress Lexi were friendly and efficient. I was with 3 friends and we shared small appetizers. The potatoes, crab cakes & hush puppies were delicious. We sat in a booth and it was really comfortable. Will definitely be back!

The ribeye was done perfectly medium rare and the stuffed pork chop was tender with a crisp pan fried exterior…delicious 🤙 Paired excellently with our gin martinis😎 What truly made our night was the service…he was humorous and entertaining😊 This is a place where you can come for any occasion and not be disappointed 👍
