Salted Brick is open to the public and is located within the beautiful resort community at The Ocala Preserve. Our centerpiece exhibition kitchen and wood-fired oven invites you to watch as entrees are grilled to perfection above a natural flame. Our Dress code here at The Club at Ocala Preserve & The Salted Brick is resort casual. This includes no ripped jean, no gym attire, no flip-flops, no T-shirts or tank tops.     After a 45+ year career in the hospitality and food service distribution business enjoying the good fortune to dine in 30+ of top steakhouses throughout the US, I feel qualified to offer my perspective on our recent visit to Remington’s Prime. My wife and I had an EXCELLENT (I rarely use that term) experience from start to finish. We were seated promptly upon our arrival and greeted immediately. Our server was very attentive and offered suggestions when prompted all while allowing us to enjoy our meals. The star of the show was the exquisitely prepared food which was not only visually appealing but tasted amazing. This is a testament to Executive Chef Randal White and his unwavering passion for satisfying his guests with unsurpassed quality and care in providing an unforgettable dining experience. We are grateful to have such a wonderful venue in Ocala. If you haven’t tried it yet and want an exceptional experience with outstanding food, put Remington’s Prime on your “must do” list, you will not be disappointed.

    I enjoyed the lobster risotto. Served with a small lobster tail and drawn butter, asparagus spears and the risotto was loaded with lobster claw meat. My husband enjoyed the meatloaf server with a small potato filling recipe and green beans. Delicious, generous servings. Definitely at return to this restaurant.

    Great experience at Mark's Prime, as usual; Service (Lindsey) was top notch - attentive, very professional and knew the menu, which helped our two folks new to Mark's; Sea Bass was excellent with a Key Lime Beurre Blanc sauce to die for; Crab Bisque was very good with adequate crab to taste; Sauteed Spinach was also very good and served with plenty to share; my wife's Herb Roasted Chicken was paned seared with Herbs and then roasted- it had a very good amount of flavor; overall very pleasurable experience and would recommend to anyone
