From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. As always the Chatham cut didn’t disappoint we love going there Matt and staff are awesome. Unfortunately I do have a concern. This time, we were lucky enough to dine there on thanksgiving from that time to last evening our martinis have gone up $4.00 which I believe is gouging the glasses are small to begin with is new management in place ?????? Would be a shame if this wonderful place started to price itself out.

We love the ambiance and the blue lighting under the bar. We are from Southern New Jersey and usually make it up to Chatham once a year and Bluefin Sushi is always the restaurant we look forward to coming to. Rosie was our waitress and she was very pleasant and was an excellent waitress! The Manager/Owner was very happy to hear of our annual trips. We told him if we lived here we would come in all the time! The food is fabulous and it’s hard to stop ordering extra dumplings and Sushi!! We will look forward to returning next year!
