The Sycamore is a Contemporary, Southern American restaurant in a 1920's historic clubhouse. Chef Josh Prichard's menu includes dishes made from scratch, inspired by, and made with locally sourced proteins, ingredients, and seasonal produce whenever possible. Adult beverages include seasonal cocktails and mocktails as well as creative and thoughtful wine menu. Signature dishes include our Smoked Meats, Chicken and Waffles and Fried Green Tomatoes.

The new 4,000-square-foot Lakeside Grille, with spectacular views overlooking the lake and Rocky Gap State Park, will replace Lakeside Restaurant as Rocky Gap’s premier, upscale steakhouse. Lakeside Grille’s menu, curated by Golden Entertainment Corporate Executive Chef Bradley Manchester, Executive Chef Bradley Reynolds and Senior Sous Chef Dustin Coldsmith, will feature USDA Prime selections including local and regional steaks, chops and seafood. Signature menu items will include an Oscar-style filet served with Maryland crab; calamari fries, prepared with sweet soy, spicy yuzu aioli, crushed peanuts and tōgarashi and Rocky Gap’s popular Maryland crab cakes.

Named for the year that Dr. John Anderson purchased the land upon which the resort now stands, 1796 Room has now been re-launched as a signature steak and chophouse, serving steaks, chops, fish and poultry of the highest quality. 1796 uses only the highest quality 21-day aged USDA prime beef. This was our first time visiting The Sycamore and it was for my birthday. We will make this a new restaurant in our rotations and return many times, excitedly. The service was amazing, the ambiance was perfect, and the food… exquisite. Cannot wait to return and try other plates!!!

Meals came out 5 minutes after getting appetizer and soups, despite making a point of asking the waiter when we ordered to hold putting the entree order in until done with apps . But food was good, as always.
