I had a ten hour connection in Tokyo so I went into the city for sushi. Takaya was a terrific choice. Delicious fresh fish combined with a friendly relaxed attitude. I was a bit apprehensive about dining alone, but the chef made me feel welcome, and I had fun chatting with him. Tip: the seats at the far right side of the counter have a direct view of the chef preparing sushi, which was fascinating.

高知の良さを、より一層知ることが出来ました。カツオ・卵・豚肉・他本当に美味しく頂きました、ありがとうございますスタッフの皆様の働く姿勢が好きです今度は、ランチに伺いたいと思います、本当にありがとうございました。

料理はアラカルトにしましたが、そのチョイスにも丁寧な説明をしていただけて量も含めて安心納得してオーダーできました。そして前菜、パスタ、メイン全て上質で大変美味しく頂きました。またワインについても味の好みを抽象的に伝えてただけで大当たりの1本を提供していただけました。ソムリエの店長が仕切るまさに一流のお店です。
