We serve well-made American classics, and strive to source the freshest food locally available to us, including from our own Marathon Farm in Brewerytown, Philadelphia. Our favorite farm to table items include our grass-fed Cheesesteak, free-range Turkey Plate, and fluffy Omelettes made with cage-free eggs.We love food, but more importantly we create the food that people love to eat. Located on the edge of Rittenhouse Square and Graduate Hospital neighborhoods of Philadelphia, SouthGate is a twist on the traditional gastropub. Elevating food and drink in a modern but in an approachable way, the menu and the décor of Southgate are heavily influenced by both our Korean roots as well as modern American culture, preferring to be interesting and friendly rather than trendy.The menu consists of a wide range of options, including several vegetarian meals. Revolution Taco, located in Philadelphia, specializes in unique and gourmet tacos and other Mexican-inspired fare in its bright and welcoming restaurant. Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy.     We had dinner this weekend at Luna and we really enjoyed everything. We had a pasta dish and the chicken dish. Bother were EXCELLENT and came out quickly. Service was great. Dining room tables are close together - but most BYOB are the same way. Would highly recommend going to this restaurant.

    The food and service is amazing. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. I am certain it will quickly become a hard reservation to get. The wait staff is attentive without being smothering. They are there when you need them, and they give you space when you don’t. The fried sea bass was great and their shrimp cocktail is to die for. Ask for their hot sauce.

    I a have celiac disease and this was the best menu and dinning option I’ve encountered. The staff was very helpful and the food was excellent! For someone who is gluten free, it was awesome to have hot fresh rolls, fantastic pasta dishes, and great sides. I also thought it was a good value and enjoyed the 2 course menu!

    Always love this place! Food is DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Even if you think you don’t like tofu - try the crispy tofu - you will be a convert!! Haven’t had a bad bite of food at SouthGate!
