With a total of six locations across Atlantic Canada, Gahan House has become an East Coast staple dedicated to creating memorable experiences. We get our name from John Gahan, a prominent merchant and importer of wines, teas, and groceries on Prince Edward Island in the 19th century. His former place of residence is now the location of the original Gahan House in Charlottetown, P.E. To share our award-winning ales with more of Atlantic Canada, we opened our doors and our taps in Halifax, N.S., Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton, N.B., and St. John’s, N.L.We began as a brewpub, and we stay true to our beginnings by having a brew system in-house, ensuring that the beer we serve is as fresh as possible.     Wonderful, beautiful new restaurant in downtown Halifax! Excellent food, friendly, professional service, bright elegant atmosphere. Lots of variety of both food and beverage choices on the menu. Everything we had was excellent. We were also impressed by the Mocktail choices--very appreciated! We have needed a new place like this in the neighbourhood for a while now, and I hope that Da Zero is around for a long time! (Definitely our new "special occasion place!)

    It was outstanding in all areas. The service was awesome from start to finish. I was a server on a ship for many years so I know what it takes to give good service. I'm also a very good cook , so when going out with my husband he is fussy, its hard to find a restaurant with good food. You aced it from the start salad we received to creme bur lee, Oh plus the wine!! Thank you for making our date night amazing!!!

    Food was great. We had the fried burrata, duck leg and the chowder. Everything was perfect. Better yet, the service was exceptional. Full kudos to Daniella for the attentive and kind service throughout the evening!
