Set within the Sterling House, we offer casual dining in a cozy atmosphere and our friendly staff delivers gracious service. We are open for outside, dine-in downstairs and dine-in upstairs seating by reservation only. Outside seating is weather permitting and available in order of booking. Outside seating is only available if you are given the option when you confirm your reservation.. Please call for any party in excess of 8 people. Le Yaca began in 1964 in Courchevel, a tiny, country village in the French Alps. Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans, they told the hopeful restaurateurs they were crazy to think people would drive eight kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for three months and then decided, “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “il n’y a qu’a le faire,” which basically means, “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag, but the name caught on with customers who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States and opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought Le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge," and to top it all off, “Alain Ducass

    One of our favorites but we hadn’t been in a while just due to life in general. So glad we got to come back. It was every bit wonderful as I remembered. No one does a chocolate martini like they do.❤️. Food is fresh and fantastic, specials are always clever and delightful. People are so welcoming and friendly.

    This was our first time at Il Piccolo Morso and it was AMAZING! Recommended by friends as a great date spot. To begin, we both ordered signature cocktails recommended by our server which were divine! We shared the Caesar Salad to start (may be the best I've ever had!!). My meal was the Spaghetti Carbonara (sooooo good!) and my boyfriend enjoyed the Baked Spicy Chorizo Rigatoni (he was raving about it!). It was so hard to choose because everything sounded delicious. We ended our meal by sharing the Limoncello Mascarpone which was recommended by our server, and it also did not disappoint (soooo good!) Overall cost is very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food (we definitely took leftovers and were extremely satisfied). We cannot wait to come back again - will definitely be back to try all of the delicious dishes on the menu. Thanks for the AWESOME service/hospitality!
