Conceived with legendary chef and food activist Alice Waters and led by acclaimed chef, writer, and cookbook author David Tanis, Lulu is a shared celebration of good food that is good for the planet. Lulu is a restaurant committed to prioritizing sustainability through local, regenerative food and design. Our mission focuses on procuring food directly from small, nearby farms practicing regenerative organic agriculture, which results in wholesome, delicious food grown using methods that combat the climate crisis.Our restaurant is named after a wise Provencal cook, Lulu Peyraud, whose cooking and hospitality at Domaine Tempier in Bandol, France has always inspired David and Alice. ​

We adhere to the craftsmanship of traditional Japanese cuisine. Chef Kenkichi Yamamoto handpicks the freshest ingredients of the season, using them to inspire the creation of all his dishes. Our kaiseki prix fixe menu has traditional Japanese flavors mixed with french elements featuring shun (seasonal) ingredients.     The food at STK was amazing, and the service was excellent. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, it still took a while to get our food. The mocktails were fantastic and perfect for the birthday girl, who wasn't drinking. I would definitely go back again.

    So many staples in Westwood have closed since the pandemic, so we had shifted to restaurants in the San Fernando Valley before going to the Geffen Playhouse, but decided to try Wolfsglen last night for the 1st time. Am very pleased to say we have found our new "go to"! Food was exceptional (best Caesar I have ever had) and the seared salmon prepared perfectly (and there are so many ways to mess up salmon). My friend had the artichoke pizza, which would not have been top of list for me, but she had me try it and it too was delicious. Wine options were relatively few but of high quality so we unusually had two glasses each. Service was also exceptional, felt attended to without being overly interrupted, offered a not-on-the-menu side salad when I asked about their salad size as I wanted a salad ahead of the main course, and more. Noise volume and energy increased during the meal, and it got hard to hear each other along the way, but worth it all around and just might find a corner table next time. Will definitely be back and will be bringing friends and family.
