Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel. “There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister,” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different.     We walked up to the door and were greeted with a warm welcome and a complimentary glass of rose! Our server, Jordan, truly knew the menu and her suggestions were spot on and delicious. The Latin beat in the background gave a fun vibe to the room where there wasn’t an empty table in sight . Personally can’t wait to return. Thank you Habana for a perfect experience!

    Nobu's never disappoints. Absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. It's pricey but well worth it. We usually only go for birthdays and other special occasions. We were a party of 6 with one person having a gluten and shrimp allergy and although the menu isn't marked with GF, or GS, the staff is always excellent on guiding to what is GF and which dishes can be made GF. Each time they came to the table with another dish, they always said if it was free from shrimp and gluten and made a point of saying which dishes were not GF. Absolutely one of our favorite places for the last 25 years or so, both the Malibu and Newport locations, and it still is.

    At Duke's, the food, service, and ambiance are great. The restaurant is roomy, so you don't get the feeling of tables jammed together, as in some restaurants. It's not cheap, but I feel like prices are fair for a restaurant of this quality.
