Tex-Mex cuisine began in the Rio Grande Valley before migrating up to San Antonio during the l860's where a group of women known as The Chili Queens' began to pop up in the city's plazas selling chili con carne with tamales, enchiladas, and chili verde. Our waiter was excellent. Very professional. His service elevated the meal. I don't recall his name but he was maybe 40's with some gray in hair and beard. Trim build. He knew everything about the menu, food prep, drinks, etc. Served with style and was present at just the right times. Than you.
