One level is slightly larger to better accommodate guests.Reservation Duration:Reservations last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing time to enjoy our cocktails and unique ambiance.RESERVATION POLICIES:The maximum number of guests per reservation is six. Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

    This was my second time at Handshake. Just as great as the first time! Came with a party of four and though we had to wait 5-10 minutes despite having a reservation (it was totally packed with people waiting outside who didn't have reservations), it was well worth the wait! All of the drinks were outstanding and truly so unique. The rest of my party, who all experienced Handshake for the first time on this outing, said it was unlike any bar they've ever been to! Awesome experience from start to finish and I will recommend Handshake to anyone visiting CDMX.

    We had a great experience! The service was fantastic, everyone was very attentive. And we were very lucky to get a seat by the window so we had an incredible view of the city at sunset. It didn’t feel like we had to wait for the food and when it came, it was all beautifully plated and spectacular looking. We loved the soup dumplings and the bone marrow rice was incredibly scrumptious.

    It wasn’t busy at all. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive. She took our order and brought the wrong roll. The roll she brought was yummy but wasn’t what I wanted. The drinks were good. I have pictures to share
