Newly relaunched on 10/29/24 as "Heritage East," on the beautiful square in Downtown Tyler.Modern East Texas cuisine by award winning (Cochon 555 "Prince of Pork," Texas Bucket List "Bite of the Season" for our Heritage Pork Chop) and Food Network Chopped featured Chef Lance McWhorter. Locally raised steaks, chops, chicken, wild game, seafood, handmade pastas, all served from an open kitchen that is right in the dining room.     This was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday and my graduation. The meat selections were fantastic, our favorite being the spicy picanha, and many of the other options for the self serve area were delicious, especially the potatoes au gratin.

    I’ve almost always had the ribeye or NY strip (and always love it!)……but finally I had one of Chef Lance’s signature dishes: Yardbird! It was delicious! I made the mistake of getting the chicken gravy on the side. I won’t make that mistake again! Chef Lance and his amazing team have things down pat!! This is the best restaurant in Tyler and we can’t wait to go back.

    My husband and I checked our III Palms for my birthday. It has such a light-hearted and relaxing vibe with neutral colors and blue accents. The chairs are very comfy. We order the Buratta for an appetizer and oh my it was good. For our entrees, my husband had the wagyu ribeye and mac and cheese and I had the salmon and fettuccine with peppercorn cream sauce. All of it was so amazingly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
