Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

Arden is an idyllic retreat tucked into Portland's Pearl District. Arden delivers seasonal Pacific Northwest cuisine and an award-winning wine program featuring over 250 bottles, many with bottle age. Guests have the option to dine a la carte or enjoy the chef's prix fixe menu ($70): a shared experience that features 4 courses of seasonal cuisine. Coursed wine pairings are also available ($45). Arden is named in homage to Shakespeare's famous forest - a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate nature's bounty and beauty. We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with 7-Course and a 10-Course options.     We have been to Republica and De Noche has been on the list for a while. We did the tasting menu for two and everything was flawless. Highly recommend. The hamachi was my favorite but truly everything was so good it was hard to choose. The stories and the descriptions of each dish add to the experience. The mixture of flavors with each dish was over the top delicious! The team works well together and the service is super attentive. With all the courses we were there for almost 2 hours. Dont skip the dessert!

    I e eaten here before and have not been disappointed. The service is top notch, waitstaff engaging and understands the food and nuances. The Tokyo turnips are definitely worth trying even if you’re not a turnip lover, beet salad never disappoints. The fois gras presented two ways delish and squash gnocchi and pierogis are also very good. Kens bread and butter the best. There isn’t one thing that was below par. This is a neighborhood unassuming gem. Ambiance, lighting makes for a quiet intimate dining experience.

    Great food and fantastic service tonight at the Screen Door. Had the deviled eggs, house salad, fried chicken and cranberry crumble dessert. Everything was so good. Our server was super fun and nice. Great experience.

    Not only in the food always delicious at Farmhouse Kitchen but, the service is always outstanding! Staff is warm and welcoming, service is quick and accurate, and the restaurant is always clean. We recommend them to anyone looking for a unique dining experience in the Pear District!
