Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. Indicated it was our son’s 18th birthday, but seemed to have not been noted. Great ambience. Food and drink was great but bit of low enthusiasm from the server marred the experience somewhat. Maybe the fact that it was the Sunday at the end of the holidays. 🤷‍♂️

The atmosphere, food and service were and are top notch. It’s not easy to maintain consistency in 10,000 sq ft and run a tight ship. The star of the show is steak… Benjamin’s has a terrific formula.
