A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. The waiter was very professional and well versed and experienced. The Halibut was a little dry but the 3 other meals were perfect. The seafood pasta was light in sauce and not overwhelming like other places. Just right and not too creamy. Salads were amazing Pricing was a little high mostly due to high alcohol costs. for example, the Rombauer should NOT be $40 a glass when you can buy a bottle of it at the store for that. We had 3 drinks and 4 cmplete meals without appetizers for $519. You can compare from there.

It was my birthday. It was my second visit and the rest of my family’s first time. They loved the food, the service was fast and delicious. We had a great time. Would definitely be back again!
