In 2018, chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, wanting to address the sparsity of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas, developed a new concept through a series of pop-up dinners called Best Quality Daughter with fellow chef Anne Ng and artist Jennifer Ling Datchuk. Beautiful building, inside and out. Staff was great. The entrees and sides were really good and full of flavor. The non-alcoholic boba was rather plain, I should have ordered the boozy one. Cool merch too.

The server gave us great recommendations especially since the food was new to us. Everything was amazing-flavors and presentation. We would go back in a heart beat if we lived in San Antonio. They deserved their Michelin rating!
