The DiGiorgio family emigrated from the cities of San Marino in north Italy and Cassino, outside of Rome. Being in business in South Florida since 1968 we have developed a great following and reputation. In 1990, the DiGiorgio family moved to Key Largo and saw the possibilities of mixing all the varieties of local seafood available with pasta and other dishes. Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, Pierre's Restaurant is set amidst a glorious, palm-lined beach overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers and a thatched forest. The two-story exterior resembles the old colonial style residences found in West Africa, but its interior reflects different cultures from around the world.     Good food but not the ingredients advertised on the menu. The Caribbean rub chicken cake without the advertised fried plantains. The pea and prosciutto salad came without the advertised English peas and snap peas, and came only with the fava beans. No mention or apology by the server for any of those omissions. Odd. But the good as served was good. My wife thought $48 for a roast half chicken was a bit high but it was well prepared (except for the missing plantains) and you are paying for location and ambiance, which are lovely. The key lime pie is very good. The Caribbean coconut custard nearly as good. Far Niente Chardonnay runs $170 which is a bit dear but location, location, location. This is our fourth stay at Cheeca Lodge and good food is part of it, so we will be back.

    We had two visits to this restaurant during our Keys trip. The food, the service, the Italian ceramic tables and the videos of Italy bring you to another place! Antonio was our server and he was awesome!!

    Beautiful waterviews and tranquil and romantic ambiance. Wonderful seafood options on menu. The staff is very attentive. A must when visiting the Florida Keys.

    Cafe Largo continues to be one of our favorite places to dine. The food is incredible and the service excellent. Our favorite server is Grace, and we suggest you ask for her when you dine there!
