Gwen Butcher Shop & Restaurant is the second restaurant from fine dining chef Curtis Stone (of Maude) and the first he’s opened with his brother Luke Stone. Gwen is both a European-style, chef-driven butcher shop and a restaurant that is redefining dining in LA, with a menu that calls on fire-based cooking techniques. Whether you’re picking up house-made charcuterie, prime and rare breed meats from the retail store, enjoying a feast in the dining room or relaxing with a bite and cocktail at the bar, Gwen delivers the highest standards of quality, taste and service.On Wednesdays-Sundays, we offer Chef's Carte Blanche 5-course tasting menu for $130 per person (limited quantities available).     Nick is arguably the BEST server in LA! He is so knowledgeable and honest and fun without being at all intrusive. The front desk staff are also excellent. They rush to open the door for us and greet us with big smiles. We aren't huge regulars, but they make us feel like we are. We're never rushed from our table (but we don't linger endlessly on a busy night). Compliments to the bus team as well for their attentiveness. Overall, one of the best restaurants in LA, and not a big bold presence on this quiet corner on Sunset. You will never be disappointed. (And if you are for something you didn't really love, they totally make up for it with extra goodies and tastes at no charge. Thanks to all the Gwen team!

    A breathtaking view among Christmas lights in the heart of Hollywood, this restaurant is the chef's kiss. From the lobby to the bar to the restaurant, a visit to the Lemon Grove is truly a prime LA experience. The food is absolutely exquisite. We ordered the Bougie Chips, Tuna Tartare, Meatballs, and Caprese to start. The Shortrib Rigatoni, Hollywood Bowl, Scallops, Salmon, and Chermoula were all delicious. My guests are eager to return!

    Jemma truly exceeded our expectations! The ambiance was nice and our server Dani was lovely. The food was amazing! We ordered the meatballs, cheese toast, kale salad and spicy rigatoni. Definitely can’t wait to go back.

    I took my wife to TAO for her birthday and our Server Nicole was excellent! The manager Liz came over to visit and also wished my wife a Happy Birthday. That was very thoughtful. I would also like to thank Dorian and Chloe the bussers for excellent service and a memorable experience.
