Stable Café is open from 4PM to 8pm daily for guests of Biltmore Estate.Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis. We had a terrific time. The Grove Park Inn is always gorgeous, but especailly so at the holidays. The buffet dinner at Blue Ridge was fabulous. Service was friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. My friend was celebrating her birthday and the restaurant graciously brought her a glass of champagne! Really lovely evening.

We generally visit the Stable Cafe at lunch when they have more variety on the menu. It is a beautiful and unique venue. Dinner was a bit pricey, and last night the menu was limited. We saw a family with small children leave when they saw the prices. The entrees were very good, but the bisque lacked salt and was too thick. In fact, I would say they forgot the salt altogether. I am not someone who salts my food at the table. My husband was very happy with his Caesar Salad. I ordered the cheesecake tart, and it had apple compote on top. It was extremely sweet because it contained more sweet apple pie filling and whip cream than cheesecake.
