Impeccably sourced, plentiful, elegant but approachable, and immensely satisfying, define Troutbeck's menus, led by Executive Chef Vincent Gilberti. We source from small farms in our region to support our local community and sustainable agriculture, while offering our guests the bounty of each season. Our barroom and restaurant is currently open Friday through Tuesday for dinner and features craft cocktails, light bites and a wide range of seasonal culinary offerings inspired by the bounties of local Hudson Valley farms. Not just farmers in name, we believe in supporting farmers and producers who share in our passion of growing and preparing the finest products imaginable. *You will be allowed to cancel your reservation at any time but please keep in mind that no shows and reservations canceled within 3 hours of your reservation time will be charged $25 per person. Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $85 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     The Red Lion Inn is iconic. Quintessential New England and always a joy to visit. Our lunch today did not disappoint. All tasty and well presented. The portions are modest for the price but leaves room for dessert. Apple pie, warmed Camabert and chocolate mousse were not only beautiful to look at it but mouth watering delicious. The Service was excellent! A must go to, if you’ve never been. And if you have, go back!

    Everyone at our table thought their food was absolutely delicious. it just took too long to get served. We were there from 6:45 until 10:00, while we enjoyed each other's company, three hours plus is long for three courses. The wait people (Alicia and Ethan) were very obliging. A very nice touch at the beginning of our evening was a little tour of Troutbeck when the greeter learned that two in our party had not been to Troutbeck before. Very friendly. thank you!

    Good place for lunch during the holidays. Town is very festive and Beekman Arms is right in the middle of town. Food and service were great. The tavern is well decorated and very historic.
