Welcome to The Black Swan. Inspired by the pubs I fell in love with on my various travels, this re-interpretation of the neighborhood Public House represents an eclectic and updated take on the traditional pub. The Black Swan explores, embraces and combines various cultural influences to appeal to different tastes, offering unique and innovative dishes like Indian-inspired curries and pastas alongside more classic dishes like Shepherd’s Pie and Fish and Chips. Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans. Some of Belmonte’s Ristorante other specialty entrées include the chicken Philadelphia sautéed with shallots, mushrooms and green peppercorns, the filet mignon in sherry wine sauce and the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed pork chops in a madeira sauce.     Excellent place- had been there for happy hour and tapas. Went there for brunch and it was delicious! We ordered a few traditional dishes and definitely recommend. The staff was friendly, engaging and professional- specifically, Reyes was a gem!

    10/10 experience across the board. The ambiance was great, we were seated in another room away from the bar (which other reviews have mentioned) and the noise level was not an issue! Everything we ate was phenomenal and the service was perfect, cannot recommend this restaurant more. We came for our anniversary and they made it a very special evening.

    We went back to Black swan for Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed it so much the first time. Sadly we were greeted with a very limited menu with regular items we can get anywhere. Please bring back the Carbonara!! We know changes are needed but why replace such an amazing dish with a pork roll sandwich?!  Scotch egg was rubbery but flavorful. Bloody Mary pitcher is a must.
