Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.     It was great to see Star Noodle reopened and love their new location with a lot more room. Our server was great and the food came out quicker than I remember from before. We had a few of our favs like the steamed pork buns, kim chee, and miso butterfish. All were excellent. This is one of our favorite places in Maui so always look forward to returning.

    We made reservations for 5:30…sunset was about 15 minutes later. It was busy as location is perfect for sunset viewing. When we checked in, we were to be seated right away but hostess suggested we wait while a table was cleaned as it had a primo front seating. We did and it was stunning. The waitress, Tiana was fabulous and friendly. The food was delicious. We plan on returning again before we leave Maui.

    Wonderful view, delicious Brunch and as always, excellent service! We had Jose as our Server again, and it was very special being back to Mala in Lahaina Town and seeing our Lahaina Ohana from the Ocean Tavern! I had MY favourite Eggs Benedict on Flax seed bread and my husband built his own amazing X-large Omelet. Jose's greeting, smile and warm personality made my day! I was celebrating 10 years Cancer Free and he made our Brunch a very special moment! See you next year, Mahalo and Aloha
