Located in downtown Los Angeles, Redbird is carved into one of the city’s most historic edifices, inside the rectory building of Vibiana – a premier wedding, events and performing arts venue. Chef | Owner Neal Fraser and Owner | Operator Amy Knoll have crafted a beautifully dynamic restaurant space within which to enjoy Chef Fraser's critically acclaimed Modern American menu. Wine Director Christopher Dugan’s wine list is well-rounded with great finds from both established and emerging regions throughout the world. Bar Director Tobin Shea's cocktail offerings feature well-balanced, bespoke renditions of the classics, as well as inventive and inspired originals. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available for brunch, happy hour + dinner.The Main Dining Room offers open air dining under our retractable roof with views of the Vibiana bell tower and the upper balconies of the rectory building. The Lounge offers dining tables along the banquette and windows overlooking 2nd St.

Chef Stephanie Izard and her team are thrilled to have joined LA’s vibrant restaurant community and continue our tradition of serving bold-flavored foods in a fun and lively family-style setting.     The food here is absolutely outstanding. it’s no wonder this place has thrived for nearly a decade and keeps people coming back. With excellent dishes, reasonable prices, and a perfectly cozy ambiance, it delivers a true dining experience. This is hands down my new favorite spot for a warm, intimate dinner with my husband. Last night, we tried just about everything and couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine with a modern twist, this is the place to be.

    Beautiful venue but was very cold when we arrived as the roof was open and it was a cold night. We had to move our table a couple times and they finally closed the roof and gave us blankets and it warmed up. At that point we began to enjoy ourselves and had a wonderful, very tasty meal and great service. Would return.

    Food flavors are outstanding. Great for date night or group dinners. Ordered and must try items were the Oyster Mushroom Kebob, hummus Masabacha, lamb neck shawarma. Love the Nebuchadnezzar cocktail, great twist on an old fashion.
