Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. The interior is multi-faceted, with a black slate tiled traditional dining room, a gorgeous 14 person capacity wooden sushi bar, a semi private "tatami" room which holds 12 people, a larger 25 person private dining room, an enclosed "back patio" casual dining room complete with tropical garden, a black concrete liquor bar with custom sake cocktails and fusion traditional cocktails.     I recently visited the bar at this Italian restaurant, and I was absolutely blown away! The atmosphere is chic yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive, always ready with great recommendations for cocktails and Italian wines. I tried a Negroni that was perfectly crafted, and a glass of Chianti that instantly transported me to Italy. The selection of aperitifs is fantastic, and the authentic flavors of the small bites to pair with the drinks are a real treat. I highly recommend stopping by for a unique drink experience. I can’t wait to return! The bartenders here are true professionals—knowledgeable, friendly!

    You have to know what you are looking for or use GPS to find the Pink Door. It has a speakeasy feel to it. Loved the ambiance and everything about the place. We ate in the lounge where the entertainment was, which was great. For a more formal experience try the dining room at the back. It has the views. The Pink Door offers a wonderful evening of food and entertainment. Our server Dina was great.

    We were seated at our reservation time at a premium table. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. Salad was unique and very flavorful. Small plate to share at Nichol’s recommendation, of scallops was outstanding. Main courses were again unique, flavorful, and exquisite. Desert was to die for. Best meals we’ve had, ever, in Seattle! Can’t wait to return.

    Maroun is one of the best restaurants near McCaw Hall. It's family owned and the food is delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Baba Ghanoush and pita. The lamb dishes were very good...next time I'll try the chicken!
