Our reservations are only for our cabanas, we do have regular tables available for our guests however they are first come, first serve and unavailable to be booked as a reservation. Our cabanas are a $300 food and beverage minimum and you will be able to relax and dine in this space for a max of 2 1/2 hours. Situated directly on the Mission Beach boardwalk and steps away from the beach, this 30,000 square foot outdoor venue is the perfect place to soak up the San Diego sun. Captain’s Quarters will feature a star cocktail list devoted to various explorations in gin cocktails. For non gin lovers, Beverage Director, Eric Johnson has put his innovative twist on various cocktails concocted with Rum, Mezcal, Bourbon, Tequila and Vodka as well as a small beer and wine selection. Love all the crazy decor! The Christmas cocktails were good however, they had too much ice! Needed more actual cocktail 😏 Loved that Santa was there. Our server was delightful and attentive.

The only restaurant in San Diego better than Cesarina is Cesarina at Christmas time. The food and service are as good as you can find anywhere but the already beautiful space is taken to the next level with their stunning and spectacular decorations for the holidays. Cesarina is a MUST any time of the year, but especially so at Christmas.

Dockside 1953 went above and beyond to give us an amazing anniversary experience. The food and drinks were outstanding!! The atmosphere was simply beautiful!! Our server and the manager did everything in their power to make sure we had an extra special evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant—it is definitely a hidden gem in San Diego!!
