Set in the heart of downtown Redwood City, Donato Enoteca offers true and honest contemporary Italian cuisine from Executive Chef Donato Scotti that changes weekly determined by the freshest available seasonal produce.     Four of us had a wonderful pre holiday lunch and we are all extremely satisfied customers for close to 20 years. The food was amazing, we began with fried calamari and the cauliflower soup. We shared the branzino (deboned ) sole fish, lamb chops and the chicken souvlaki. For dessert two of us enjoyed Judy's ice cream sundae and an order of galaktourrko and the chocolate cake. Delicious.. Our server Pryush was beyond outstanding, very helpful and extremely pleasant.

    Great service, ambiance, and overall experience! We split some starters (the bread and veggies for the burrata was overcharred but the dish itself was perfect), and had the steak sandwich, Chinese chicken salad, Roasted Chicken, and Zambrini. Every dish was flavorful. Surprisingly the parking wasn’t as difficult as I had feared. I would definitely return. Just make sure to book well in advance!
