Nothing delights quite like The Orator, serving up contemporary British food, cocktails, beer and wine. Set in a stunning Victorian gothic venue with high ceilings bathed in swathes of natural light. We can offer private dining for up to 20 in our private Dining Room used to host guests of the Cambridge Union Society, recently including Dua Lipa and Robert de Niro. For larger groups, we have a number of different rooms throughout the venue to cater for any occasion.     Service at the Ivy is second to none - staff are wonderful. The food is great and beautifully presented - just wish they wouldn't serve the beans separately on the breakfast - impossible to eat from the little pan. Lovely touch was the exquisite profiterole complete with candle that arrived at the end in celebration of my husbands birthday.

    2nd time only in a decade being here. Ambience and decor nice. Service was good and menu choices were fantastic but when the food arrived portions were poor and the charcuterie board was a real disappointment . Meat quality was fine but that was it, just meat and a few slices of bread butter and a couple of tiny morsels of pickled veg. I have had many a charcuterie board in many restaurants but none have been as limited as this one. Crème caramel was decent however and as I say service and ambience and decor were all good. Probably worth a second visit but food would need to be better to warrant any further visits

    Food options have been better but still not much to choose from. Food needs improvement. Service is better than before. I usually had to wait a long time to get someone but it was easier to get attention.

    Great offer, 2 children eat free with 1 full paying adult. Service was great, busy bustling reataurant, enjoyable meal with nice food.
