Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. The food was amazing. The whole fish was off the chain! The service was a bit off, but not bad. If you are fussy about service, you may have been annoyed about a few things. We were there with friends and having a great time so it wasn't an issue for us. Quality and value were spot on.

This was our first time here. Will definitely be back. One menu item we wanted to try had been removed the day before unfortunately. The service was excellent. The cocktails were also. Two things we weren’t expecting was the abundance of goat cheese in multiple dishes. We are not fans and didn’t care for that. The other was how fast our entrees came out. We weren’t even able to finish our appetizers.
