James Beard-nominated, Chef's Prix Fixe Tasting Experience by Executive Chef Jose Camarena, recontextualizes Mexican cuisine and culture through Storytelling. We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with 7-Course and a 10-Course options. Both experiences are meant to honor the complex history that created each dish, as well as leave a lasting impact on all those who taste this beautiful food and listen to our stories. República is a tasting menu-only restaurant. We offer a 7-course menu at $128 or a 10-course menu at $150 per person.     I e eaten here before and have not been disappointed. The service is top notch, waitstaff engaging and understands the food and nuances. The Tokyo turnips are definitely worth trying even if you’re not a turnip lover, beet salad never disappoints. The fois gras presented two ways delish and squash gnocchi and pierogis are also very good. Kens bread and butter the best. There isn’t one thing that was below par. This is a neighborhood unassuming gem. Ambiance, lighting makes for a quiet intimate dining experience.

    I could not recommend Mediterranean Exploration Company enough! Everything we ate was 11/10. We also sat at the counter and watched the chefs, which was incredible. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had and we will definitely be returning to try all of the foods that we didn’t get to try. Highly recommend the crispy lamb hummus with pita and spiced carrots dishes. Falafel and grilled octopus dishes were also delicious!
