Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill. There is no exception to this policy. Parties over 6 people may be booked by calling the restaurant. Any parties over 6 people will be sat at separate tables.**We accept reservations for INSIDE DINING ONLY. Reservation made with patio requests do not guarantee an outdoor table will be available upon arrival and may require an additional wait time.     My wife and I had an early dinner that was exceptional. All of the staff and especially our server, Alyson, were pleasant, helpful, efficient and accommodating. We decided to share the Bulgogi appetizer that did not disappoint. Our entrees, Tuscan Salmon and Crab stuffed shrimp were perfectly prepared and plated. The wine and hazelnut praline dessert were wonderful. Around 5PM a musician began playing his guitar and singing. This was our first time at the Grove and as you can tell we enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely return.
