Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings the Kalahari a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in downtown Sandusky, Ohio.

CRUSH is a full service restaurant focused on providing high quality food in an inviting and comfortable setting, with friendly and attentive service. The bar menu offer wines by the glass, wine flights, an extensive wine bottle list, spirits & brews. An eclectic dinner menu features small plates, entrees such as fresh pastas, grilled super thin crust pizzas, steaks, chops and daily features, as well as sushi. Centrally located in Downtown Sandusky a block from the water. For reservations of parties larger than 6, or if you are unable to find a time that suits your desired time, please call us directly 419-502-9463 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Reservations are for tables only: the bar and the patio are first come, first seated. Reservations are for indoor dining... the Patio & Wine Garden are first come-first served. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which your table will not be held or guaranteed. If running late please contact us directly.

Reservations are available for Lunch Monday-Friday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, Dinner Sunday-Thursday from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 5:00 pm-10:00 pm and Brunch on Sundays from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Business Casual Dress Code is required. Window tables are limited and we cannot guarantee seating but will do our best to accommodate your request.     We dined a little early and on a Wednesday, so we didn't need the reservations we made but the reservation process was trouble free. Our portions were huge... one can claim the menu is a little pricey but considering each of us had leftovers the price is actually pretty good. The only negative comment at the table was my Mom got a side of brocolli (again huge) and she mentioned it didn't have much flavor. I kind of prefer the ambiance of the old 800, but I'm sure the built in steady stream of customers through the Kalahari made it a smart move.

    Food and service were excellent! We made a last minute reservation for 12 people and even though they were very busy they were able to accommodate our party, thank you so much for the warm hospitality! Crush is a wonderful restaurant and always a great choice for whatever occasion!

    A very sad night with the closing of Bay Habor for the season. This restaurant has been a year-round "go to" for our family for 35 plus years, now silenced by Cedar Fair. 25-year employees out of a job just before the Holidays.

    Always a great experience. This is a regular stop when we bring our kids for an overnight at great wolf lodge or cedar point. Food is always delicious and they have great options for the kids. Service was great too!
