Mona Pasta Bar Dinner dishes highlight the marriage of Italian techniques with Southern California ingredients including Pesce Crudo with citrus cured hamachi, kosho beet vinaigrette and hazelnuts, Burrata & Tomato with burrata pugliese, heirloom tomato, pine nuts, pesto and squash blossom, Casarecce with lamb sausage and rapini, Lumache - alla vodka, and a Whole Branzino with caramelized fennel.     We had a great time here for my wife’s birthday. Besides the food which was absolutely amazing and delicious. LA who was our waiter made cabra and even more great experience here. Felt very at home with this Peruvian inspired restaurant starting from the food and staff.

    We chose this restaurant because it was walking distance to the Orpheum Theater where we had tickets to a concert. We had calamari fritti and tomato with pesto sauce and burratta cheese to share as a starter and then each of us chose a pasta dish as main course. The portions are small but the food quality is good. There's a limited selection of wine and they allowed us to try a few to help make a decision. We then had olive oil cake and tiramisu for dessert. It was a about $90 per person which is expensive but about what you expect to pay these days for a meal downtown

    Great service, friendly staff. I was craving something like an açaí bowl and had the chia pudding, it was really rich and chocolatey with fresh fruit.

    Service is great. The atmosphere was wonderful and we appreciate the staff let us sit and lounge on the patio as it was a group of us that had not seen each other in over five years.
