Bluestone is a Chicago-style restaurant in Evanston that offers homestyle cooking in a warm and welcoming environment. Owner John, whose obsession with golf led to the more than 250 pin flags decorating the restaurant, opened Bluestone after transitioning from commercial film production. His goal was to create a locale that was filled with friendliness and familiar faces, all while serving a variety of menu options with a hometown feel. Guests can enjoy favorites like crab cakes, or branch out and discover a new one from their wrap, soup, quesadilla or burger menus.     This is my favorite Bar Siena location. It is ideally located in the mall, so there is a lot of parking. The entire restaurant is spacious and comfortable. The food and drinks are wonderful. Tracy, who is one of the managers, made our group of four feel very welcome.

    Food is always delicious and prepared well. Wait staff is courteous and attentive but not overly so. They always ask about food allergies which is so nice since many dishes may have something in them that only the chef knows about. Ambiance is very pleasant. Nice place to celebrate special occasions or host clients.

    EJ’s Place is our go to restaurant for a great meal and awesome service. They have something for everyone: awesome steak, fresh fish and their meat sauce in their spaghetti is top notch. The valet is complimentary so it’s easy to get in and out (although the guys are super friendly and deserve a decent gratuity too.). We highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.
